Civil society organizations that have observer status with UNCTAD and those that were accredited for UNCTAD XII will be able to designate their representatives to the Conference. Civil society organizations dealing with trade and development and interrelated issues in the areas of finance, investment, technology and sustainable development were invited to submit applications for their accreditation for UNCTAD XII. The deadline for applying for accreditation was 18 February 2008. Once accredited, organizations are requested to send an official letter to the UNCTAD secretariat designating their representatives to the Conference. Designated representatives should then fill out the registration form so that they can take part in UNCTAD XII to be held in Accra, Ghana.
